This summer, I am proud to have served as a student counselor at the Little Tiger Chinese Immersion School summer camp, where I supported teachers and took full ownership of my responsibilities. Before camp began, I participated in orientation and completed all assigned preparation tasks and training. Each day, I helped prepare classroom materials and activity spaces, assisted with setup and cleanup, supported teachers during lessons, and led or assisted with small-group activities under their guidance. I also encouraged camper participation and positive behavior throughout the day. After class, I helped clean and organize the classrooms and actively joined daily debrief meetings to reflect on successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. I enjoyed this experience very much, and I hope to do it again next summer.

It is great to be a substitute volunteer chess teacher at the Austin Great Wall Chinese School (AGWCS)

Volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank was a great experience. I got to meet a lot of my friends and we all sacked potatoes into bags. I think we worked efficiently and we ended up sending lots of potatoes.

I am proud to serve as a teaching assistant at Sunshine Chinese Language and Arts School on Sundays, where I prepare and teach short Chinese lessons through math, chess, and rubrics, help prepare learning materials, and support young learners with classwork, crafts, and sports activities, as well as supervise recess.
I also served as a camp counselor, leading and supporting small-group activities during lessons, organizing games and cooking sessions for younger campers, assisting with setup, cleanup, and material preparation, and participating in daily debriefs to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement. I enjoyed this experience very much.

Another great experience to share music with the nursery olders and friends in the neighborhood.
